If you are a single Catholic man, age 20-40, perhaps a religious vocation is what you are seeking.

Saint Meinrad Archabbey is a Roman Catholic Benedictine monastery located in southern Indiana.

The monks were invited here from Switzerland in 1854 by Father Joseph Kundek, then parochial vicar of the Diocese of Vincennes, to establish the monastic life in southern Indiana, to provide ministry to the local Church, and to educate native vocations for priesthood.

Monks live a common life and gather four times a day for prayer and liturgy. The monks of Saint Meinrad operate a seminary as their main work.

Today the monastery is a diverse community of about 100 monks, who range between the ages of 24 and 107 and represent a variety of backgrounds.

Below is a video about life at Saint Meinrad. It has been broken down into six sections. We hope that you will find the video helpful in your discernment.
